II

House, now club. c1823, with later C19 and C20 additions and
alterations. For George Housfield. Ashlar with ashlar
dressings and hipped artificial slate roof with a stone ridge
stack. Plinth, first floor band, moulded eaves. 2 storeys; 5
window range. L-plan. Windows are mainly plain sashes. Main
block, to right, has 3 windows. Below, central semicircular
Doric portico with steps, covering panelled door with
overlight. To left, a reglazed window, and to right, 2 smaller
boarded windows. Slightly set back block, to left, has 2
windows, and below, a sash to left and a French window with
overlight to right. INTERIOR not inspected.
