Farmhouse, now house and flat, with adjoining barns and
stables. Dated 1722. Mid C19 addition in matching style.
Adjoining barns and stables late C18. Ashlar, squared dressed
stone and brick with rendered right gable and stone dressings.
Stone slate and concrete tile roofs with 3 gable and 2 ridge
stacks.
Plinth, rusticated quoins, first floor and lintel bands,
moulded eaves, coped gables. Windows have moulded architraves
and keystones. 2 storeys plus garrets; 5 window range of
glazing bar sashes. L-plan. Central moulded stone doorcase
with hood and datestone above, and half-glazed C19 door,
flanked by 2 plain sashes. To left, 2 storey addition, 2
windows, with similar fenestration. Right gable has a
round-headed garret window. Rear wing gable has the initials G
B and the date in burnt headers.
Adjoining barns and stables have hipped stone slate roofs.
Range adjoining the house has 2 slatted casements flanked by
stable doors, and to right an elliptical arched barn door. To
left, a garage door with wooden lintel. Above, a 2-light
glazing bar casement and to right, a blocked window.
Return range, to right, has to left an elliptical arched barn
door and to its left, a single storey lean-to addition. To
right, 2 elliptical arched cart openings, and above them, a
2-light slatted opening with stone mullion. To left, between
floors, a loft door.
