House, now offices, and attached railing. c1830, railing
c1870. Brick with ashlar dressings. Roof not visible.
Rusticated plinth, angle pilasters, cornice and blocking
course. 2 storeys plus basement; 3 x 2 windows. Front, to
Wheat's Lane, has recessed centre with a small margin glazed
window with Egyptian architrave, and below, a pedimented
doorcase with Egyptian architrave, 6-panel double door and
overlight. On either side, a single 12 pane sash on each
floor, all with Egyptian architraves, the lower ones
pedimented. Below, 2 segment-headed basement openings with
multiple keystones. Left return has 2 similar windows on each
floor. Right return has irregular fenestration.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Outside, at the left end, a wrought-iron hooped railing with a
rock-faced stone plinth.
