Gateway and screen wall. 1841. For the 12th Duke of Norfolk.
Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings. Central pair of
square gate piers with moulded plinths and capitals, topped
with pierced pyramidal finials. Screen wall has moulded coping
and strapwork parapet. On either side, a pedestrian gateway
with a pair of square piers with moulded caps. These buildings
were erected when the former manorial park was opened as a
public park.
