II
House with attached walls and summer-house. 1836 with mid C19 extensions. Red
brick with pantile and slate roofs. 4 gable stacks and a single lateral stack. 2
storey. Street front with off-centre doorway with glazed fanlight and half-glazed
door, with above a glazing bar sash all within a round headed arch. To the left a
blocked doorway with a blind window above. Beyond a pair of inserted plain
sashes, with above a glazing bar sash within a round headed arch. To the right a
C20 door and a garage entrance with roller shutter and overlights, above a flush
glazing bar sash. Garden front has an off-centre plank door, with a glazing bar
sash to the left and a 2 light casement to the right. Above 2 glazing bar
sashes. To the right a projecting wing with a plank door with overlight and a 3
light casement above a C20 casement. The east front of this wing has a canted bay
window on the ground floor with glazing bar sashes and a glazed door. Above a
single glazing bar sash. Interior has stick baluster staircase, and various
original fireplaces, with shutters to some of the windows. Externally the garden
is surrounded by a 6 foot high brick wall with brick coping and in the north-east
corner a square brick summer-house with round arched doorway.
