Circa 1840 villa. Corner site with Dover Street. Two storeys, basement and
attic, stucco faced. Plinth, flanking pilaster strips, frieze and band
between storeys. Low pitch hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves, three
close set dormers, one modern. Stuccoed stacks on eaves linked by high
parapet with coping. Two windows to Wood Street: on first floor to left
with cornice and panelled apron but three modern casement lights, other
windows recessed, third with shutters on ground and first floor to right,
and one sash with glazing bars intact, block sills. Central entrance with
recessed panelled and glazed door, rectangular fanlight, splayed reveals,
plain surround. Greek Doric porch of rather attenuated fluted columns and
pilasters to wall, entablature over, resting on parapets flanking three steps.
Anthemion and vitruvian scroll railings to sides of porch. Dover Street front:
similar but with three windows, two in bow through both storeys to South,
recessed, sash, glazing bars intact, block sills.

Form a group with Nos 34 to 38 (even) Dover Street.
