Gatepiers and entrance quadrants. c.1878, architect C F Hayward for railway king
H A Brassey. Rough-faced rubble with ashlar dressings. The gatepiers have
shaped capping and ball finials. Flanking walls extend about 4 feet high and
7 feet long each side and link with reverse quadrant walls which are ramped down
with the slope.
