magnate H A Brassey; architect possibly C F Hayward; altered 1970s after fire.
Rough-faced rubble; imitation Cotswold stone roofs. Hollow square plan. South
front: central archway with shaped gable over containing armorial cartouche;
wooden gates with diagonal boarding. 1 storey and attic to right with 2 gabled
bays and Caernarvon-arch windows; single storey 3-bay wing to left. Irregular
courtyard.
