House. Mid-late C18, with C20 extension to left. Ironstone ashlar with
Uppingham stone plinths and dressings. Collyweston slate roof, coped gables with
moulded kneelers, brick chimney to left, ashlar chimney to right. 2 storeys,
attic and basement; 3 bays. Flush band courses at first floor and eaves level.
Renewed 3-pane sashes in Uppingham stone surrounds, those to ground floor with
keyblocks. Basement window to right with pair of C20 wooden lights and central
stone mullion. Central 6-panelled door in wooden frame with depressed arch, all
in raised stone surround with narrow moulding to edge, and moulded keyblock.
Door is approached by 5 stone steps with wrought iron handrails. Attic window in
right gable. C20 2-storey bay to left, of colourwashed roughcast, with 3-light
barred wooden casements, the lower slightly canted.
