--1-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a Hickling craftsman. Rectangular slate with round-faced winged angel and relief carved letteringd , to: George Man d. 15th Nov 1730. Poem:- Farewell my wife and children dear/ Which in this worlIve left behind/ Do not lament nor shed a tear/ Eternity before you, mind-. Below this: -Near to this stone a child doth lye/ Who died in his infancy-. (Photo Sept 2012).
