-12-- One of the belvoir Angels Headstones by a local craftsman. Rectangular slate with round-faced winged angel and calligraphy with curled serifs, to: Thomas Hardy d. 25th Jan 1720 aged 48 years. Also Judith his wife d. 21st Mar 1727 aged 53. Poem:-A loving husband and a vertuous wife/ Here lies confined both to leave this life/ And tho their bodys they return to dust/ Their souls I hope are dwelling with the just- (Photo Mar 2014).
