Formerly lodge, later cafe, now a house: dated 1742. Washed brick on
stone plinth, Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 2 gable brick
chimneys. 2-storey, 3-bay front. C20 board door at right end under
rough segmental brick head. 3-light casements with applied lead
glazing under rough brick segmental heads. Central semi-circular
headed datestone reads JSB 1742.
