Village Cross: Medieval base, shaft and head dated 1832. Ashlar buff
sandstone.- 2 graduated square steps support a large square block.
On this is a tapering octagonal shaft with a square foot, head and
central band. This supports a larger square head with a cross to the
front, the arms of the Wright family to the left, and the date of
restoration to the rear.
The cross has been moved a short distance from its original site,
marked by a plaque in the pavement.
