C18 or earlier cottage facing churchyard. Ground floor tarred brick, 1st floor
weatherboarded. Old tiled roof half hipped. 2 storeys, 4 windows, unbarred sashes
and casements but all ground floor windows except 1 now bricked up.
Nos 1 and 2 with the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul form a group with all
the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street. (No 45 is a building of
local interest) and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street.
