Early C19. 3 storeys, attic and semi basement. White brick facade with stringcourse
at 1st floor, modillion cornice and parapet. Roof not visible. 3 windows, sashes
with glazing bars. Door with added modern pediment hood, fluted pilasters, panelled
reveals and good fanlight incorporating centre lamp.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Pater
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest.
