Early C19. Stuccoed facade, string course at lst floor. Hipped slate roof. 2
storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars. Round arched doorways recessed,
with semi-circular fanlight and door of 6 fielded panels. The front is partly
obscured by a wall, behind which are modern additions.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
