C18. Painted brick with brick eaves cornice and hipped, old tiled, roof. 2 storeys
and basement. No 34, has 2 windows, No 35 has 3 windows with centre blank and
a lower, 2 storeyed, 1 bay section at north end. All sashes with boxed frames
and glazing bars. No 34 has a C19 shop window with glazing bars, this and door
under entablature with cornice frieze and architrave with pilasters. No 35 has
6 panelled door.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street, (No
