War Memorial, c.1922. Carved white marble statue of a soldier in battle-dress
resting his hands on the barrel of his gun standing on a rock. The base of
which has a scroll engraved:
"IN COMMEMORATION
OF THE GALLANTRY
AND SACRIFICE OF
THE MEN OF THE
MYTHOLMROYD URBAN
DISTRICT WHO GAVE
THEIR LIVES IN THE
GREAT WAR 1914-18"
Granite plinth. Stands in a small park in the centre of the village.
