House, mid C17 used as a public house for a time known as The Swan. Now forms 3
dwellings. Large dressed stone, top 2 courses renewed probably early C20.
Stone slate roof. Double chamfered mullioned windows of 5 lights, 3 lights and
7 lights. 1st floor windows are of 2-wide lights with flat faced mullion but
with earlier chamfered surround. No. 4 has original doorway with composite
jambs and stop chamfered surround. 2 other inserted doorways to Nos. 2 and 3.
Right hand return wall has coped gable with kneelers and finely dressed stack
with cyma moulded cornice. One other stack, rendered to ridge. Stack for No. 2
on gable of barn (q.v.). Some double chamfered mullioned windows to rear.
