Cottage. C18. Coursed squared limestone rubble with wooden lintels; thatch roof
with brick gable stack. Single-unit plan with rear outshut 2 storeys. 2-window
front has 2-light casements at first floor, the left window lowered, and has
casements of one. 2 and 2 lights below, the middle window probably replacing the
original doorway. A narrow extension to left now contains the entrance. Further
entrance in end of small rear outshut. Interior not inspected. One of a group of
similar thatched cottages at the upper end of Freehold Street (q.v. Nos.86, 93
and 105). Included for group value.
