House and forge, now 2 dwellings. C17 and C18/C19 restored C20. Regular coursed
limestone and lias with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. Single
storey with attic. Irregular 3-window range of C20 casements under wood lintels.
Central fire window has chamfered stone surround. 3 gabled eaves dormers, to
attic, have C20 casements. Central C20 door under concrete lintel. C18/C19
lean-to extension to left and gabled extension to right. This has a stable door
in the return wall. C20 door in return wall of lean-to. Large central stone
stack and brick and stone stacks at ends. Interior not inspected but noted as
having remains of open fireplace.
