11/62 No.2 (Yew Tree Farmhouse)

Farmhouse now house. C17 and early C19. Regular coursed limestone and lias with
Collyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan, now 3 units. 2 storeys. 4-window
range of casements with glazing bars under wood lintels. C20 door, to left of
centre, is also under a wood lintel. Partly rebuilt stone stacks at ridge and
end. Bay to right is separated from main range by a straight joint and was added
late C17. Rear elevation has some C20 dormer windows. Interior: rooms to left
and right of entrance have open fireplaces with bressumers, the fireplace in the
right hand room was probably added. Early C19 staircase with stick balustrade.
