House. Datestone IL.LY/1649, probably reset, C17 and late C18. Regular coursed
limestone with Collyweston slate roof. T-shape plan. 2 storeys. Main front is a
3-window range of 2-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows at first floor. 2
late C18 canted bay windows to ground floor left and right, have ashlar bases
and slate roofs. Central 6-panel door, with glazed toplights, is under wood
lintel and hood with hipped roof. Brick and stone stack to left and ashlar stack
to right. Sable end of rear wing has two 2-light stone mullion windows with
chamfered mullions; one is probably a C19 copy. Datestone on sundial in apex of
gable. Interior has remains of 2 open fireplaces in rooms to left and right of
entrance. Early C19 staircase with stick balustrade.
