Two Chest Tombs: (i) Late C18-early C19. Limestone. Rectangular. On base
and plinth with two raised and fielded panels to each side and engaged corner
balusters. One end has carving in low relief of urn with drapery and
flowers, and the other a cherub as winged soul in a cartouche of C and S
scrolls. Inscription to top is indecipherable. (ii) Another chest tomb of
similar date, and design and probably to another member of same family.
