House. Early C18, extended in early C19 with later additions and alterations.
Painted brick, plain tiled roofs with coped verges on kneelers to earlier
part. 2 storeys; front in 2 sections, C18 part to left, C19 addition set
back to right; both of 5 bays, glazing bar sashes, those to earlier part
flush-framed; C18 part with floor bands to left gable end and rear;
2 integral. end stacks and one ridge stack to C18 part; 2 ridge stacks
and one end stack to C19 part. The ground floor of the C18 section has
early C19 French windows of 2, 4 and 5 lights respectively from left,
with verandah supported on cast-iron columns over 2 right-hand windows.
Another more elaborate and fine verandah with Greek key ornamentation
over set-back 6-panel door with vertical lights (note internal shutters)
to left gable end. 2-storeyed mid-C19 additions at right angles to rear.
