Bridge Cottage (part)

House, now divided into 2. Ye Olde House: C16 origins, extensively
remodelled c.1700 with considerable later additions and alterations.
Plum brick (largely garden wall bond), part of the rear has C16 close-
studded timber frame below the eaves; plain tile roof and sandstone
and brick external lateral stack. 2 storeys and attic; bands at floor
level; 2 bays, 2-light mid-C19 casements with cambered heads, one range
in east gable end with entrance beneath, through gabled porch, dated
1975. Bridge Cottage: is a lower rendered 2-storey former C18 rear
wing with modern accretions (which are not included), forming an 'L'-
plan. Interior not inspected.
