Town house. Early C19. Stuccoed elevations, dry Delabole slate
roof with hipped angle on the left, stuccoed chimmneys. Fairly
deep plan. 3 storeys. Corner site with quoin strips to both
fronts. Lemon Street front has 1-window front with ground
floor/basement doorway (now window) in open porch formed by
canted first-floor bay carried on fat square columns; the bay
has sunk aprons, a broken parapet cornice and horned copy
sashes with glazing bars; original 2nd-floor hornless sash
with glazing bars. Carclew Street front has 4-window range
with original hornless sashes with glazing bars except for
later horned sashes to ground floor. Extra 2-storey bay on
left has doorway with moulded hood on consoles and
round-headed window above. Late C19 shop front, on right, has
terminal pilasters and consoles to fascia with moulded
cornice; original 4-pane hornless sash shop window with arched
lights, on the left, C20 shop window on the right. INTERIOR
not inspected but likely to be of interest. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: original wrought-iron railings over basement
forecourt walls, including gate to basement steps on the left.
