Two pairs of small town houses, now public house. Early C19.
Local rubble with freestone and brick dressings; asbestos
slate roof with hipped return on the left; brick axial stack.
Double-depth plan, 2 mirror-image pairs. 2 storeys; overall
6-window front: 2 symmetrical 3-window fronts each with
central pair of round-headed doorways with blind fanlights
over C20 doors; other openings have slightly cambered arches
with projecting keyblocks over copy C20 horned sashes with
glazing bars except where replaced to ground floor of
left-hand pair with glazed doors in enlarged openings.
2-window left-hand return has late C19 four-pane horned
sashes. INTERIOR: altered for conversion to public house but
retains some original carpentry and joinery details.
