2 town houses. Early C19, for Josephus Ferris, developer.
Render to front, replacing stucco, otherwise stucco; hipped
natural slate roof with brick stacks over the side walls.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys over basement; symmetrical
3-window front. C20 twelve-pane horned sashes; central
round-headed niche within rusticated architrave. Doorways to
C20 porches set back on either side. INTERIOR not inspected
but likely to be of interest. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: original
closely-spaced wrought-iron railings with arrow-head finials
and square stanchions with turned finials surround 2 basement
courtyards at the front; granite steps down from either side.
