House, now shop. Late C18 with later alterations. Stucco over
brick; tile roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 5-window
range. The 1st bay is wide; top cornice. Windows have
rusticated wedge lintels: ground floor has 16-pane sash to 1st
bay; 1st floor has 12-pane sashes; 2nd storey has 6-pane sash
to 1st bay, the rest are 9-pane sashes; inserted C20 windows
to left end of all floors, that to ground floor replacing
carriage entrance. 2nd to 5th bays of ground floor have C20
double-fronted shop front with paired round-headed lights. C20
wall-mounted lantern and wrought-iron bracket. INTERIOR: not
inspected. One of a row of Georgian houses in King Street,
built after 1751.
