House, now an hotel. Mid C19. Rendered solid walls; top of
right gable wall slate-hung. Hipped slated roof. Rendered
chimney on each gable wall. 3 storeys. 3 windows wide, except
that second storey has no middle window. Horizontal
channelling in ground storey; masonry markings and raised
quoins above. Ground storey has round-arched centre doorway
with panelled pilasters, sunk spandrels and exaggerated
keystone; 4-panelled door. Triple-sashed window at either
side. Second-storey windows have sashes, moulded architraves
and patterned iron balconies. Third-storey windows have sashes
and flanking pilasters. All sashes have a single upright
glazing-bar. Boxed eaves-cornice. To left, late C19
conservatory with coloured glass and ornate iron finial.
