GV II

House. Early C19. Rendered, except that upper storeys of front
are slate-hung (re-slated in Delabole in late C20). Exposed
right side-wall rebuilt in red brick at front; old stone
rubble at rear. Hipped slated roof. Wide rendered chimney on
centre of ridge. 3 storeys. 2 windows wide; ground storey has
a single triple-sashed window with doorway to left. Latter has
flanking pilasters and frieze with incised Grecian decoration;
moulded cornice, panelled reveals. 6 panelled door; cobweb
fanlight. 6-paned sashes in upper storeys, except that upper
sashes in third storey have only 3 panes. Bracketed
eaves-cornice.
