House, now divided into 3 houses; Nos 71 and 73 partly
rebuilt. Probably C16 or early C17. Solid rendered walls.
Slated roofs. 3 rendered chimneys with tapered caps: 1 on left
gable, 2 on rear wall. 2 storeys. 5 windows wide. Front lined
to imitate masonry. No 71 has mid or late C18 doorcase with
moulded architrave, panelled frieze, flat hood on shaped
brackets, panelled reveals; 6-panelled door, the bottom 2
panels flush, the top 2 now glazed. No 73 has similar doorcase
and door, but without the frieze and bracketed hood, and with
an iron shoescraper; top 4 panels of door glazed. No 69 has
raised quoins to left; late C20 bay window in ground storey,
metal casement above. No 71 has 10-paned sash window to left
of centre door; 8-paned sash window to right, with 3 more in
upper storey. No 73 has two C20 wood-framed windows.
