House. Early C18 with late C18 to mid C19 rear wing. Solid
rendered walls, the right gable and upper storey of rear wing
(visible from Hares Lane) slate-hung. Slated roofs. Rendered
chimneys on right gable and on rear wall to left. 2 storeys
with garret at front. 3 windows wide. 6-panelled centre door,
the 4 lower panels flush, the 2 top panels now glazed.
Panelled frieze; flat hood on shaped brackets. 8-paned sashes
in recessed box-frames. Front finished with triangular gable
spanning all 3 windows; it contains a single window matching
those below. Plain bargeboards, extending across below the
eaves at either side. Rear wing has 6-paned sashes facing
Hares Lane; at rear, C19 sashes with margin-panes in ground
storey, triple sash with 2-paned centre light above.
