Three houses. 2 builds. C17, remodelled C18 and C20. Regular coursed ironstone
rubble, Welsh slate roofs, brick ridge and end stacks. 2 storeys. Nos.1 and 1A:
4-window range. Single-storey outshut attached to left end has casement window.
2 entrances. Entrance off centre to left has brick responds, panelled door and
overlight. Renewed door to right. Both entrances reached via stone steps. First
floor has 4 renewed casements. All windows have wooden lintels. Ground floor has
plinth. Rear: 4-centred arched doorway now used as window opening. Hood mould
and label stop. 4-light stone-mullioned window with hood mould and label stop
and a blocked doorway to ground floor to right. First floor has renewed windows.
No.2: 4-window range. 4-centred stone doorway now partly blocked/inserted C20
window. Two C20 wood-mullioned and transomed windows to left with wood lintels.
Small re-set C14 window to right has ogee tracery and hood mould with label
stops. C20 casement to far right. First floor has 3 wood-mullioned and transomed
windows and a 3-light C20 casement. All windows have wood lintels. Roof level
lower to right as upper courses of roof raised to left. Stone plinth. Interior
to No.1 noted as having chamfered beams and stone fireplaces. Photographs in
