The date of this photo is not known.
Rebuilt in the 1990s these are probably the earliest example of this type of artisans homes still standing in central Manchester.
The three blocks each contained two houses of three rooms being one up one down plus basement, they were terribly overcrowded with whole families living in these cramped conditions. These house may have been occupied by artisans or servants working in the houses on Lever St which these properties back on to.
