House formerly a row of cottages. Mid C18, altered C20. Coursed, squared,
dressed sandstone, slate roof. T-shaped plan having wing to rear-centre, 2
storeys, 1:2:1 bays, central part gabled. Chamfered ashlar quoins.
Rusticated ashlar central doorway with cornice. Each bay on each floor has a
2-light transomed wooden casement with projecting sill and flat arch,
excepting outer lst-floor bays where windows rise as half-dormers. Gabled
central bays have kneelers and gable copings as do end gables; rendered end
stacks.
