Pair of cottages, part formerly a Primitive Methodist Chapel. Early C19
refronting of late C18 cottages. Ashlar sandstone, coated Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 2 bays with lower single bay set back on right as extension to
rear range. Cottages are fronted by an adjoining pair of semicircular-bay
projections each with flat C20 casements with glazing bars, projecting stone
sills and lintels set in the curve on each floor; ground-floor lintel of left
bay inscribed 'PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL', upper floor lintel with weathered
inscription quoting a hymn(?); low roof set behind coped parapet. Set back
on right is the addition to rear range having C20 bowed casement in rendered
panel beneath small casement. Rear range has coped gables with brick stack
at centre of junction with curved-bay additions; end stack to addition on
right.
