House. Early C18 with C19 wing and later alterations. Coursed, squared
sandstone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows to lst floor;
double-depth plan with wing to rear right. Large quoins. Central French
window in renewed rusticated surround; 2 enlarged windows on left with
transomed casements. C20 two-storey bay window on right has 5-light casement
to each floor and interrupts lst-floor band. lst-floor windows to 3 bays on
left as ground floor; band beneath parapet with moulded copings rising as a
gable over central 3 bays having blind, architraved oculus in the gable.
2-span roof. Ashlar gable copings with renewed brick end stacks.
Left return: tall stair window in square-faced surround; similar surround to
former 2-light mullioned window on left and to 2 single-light attic windows
in uncoped left gable. Right return: 2-storey porch at junction of gables
has chamfered, quoined door surround with band continued in relief on lintel;
single-light window above, beneath shaped kneelers and gable copings.
