Uploader's Comments

Southern west gable, built of limestone and warm coloured ironstone. The surface has been roughened to preparate it for a coat of render, never applied. The mullioned, transomed windows are neither as tall nor as wide as their neighbours. This gable, then, looks back to early Tudor times, while its neighbours carry echoes of the Stuarts.
