Farmhouse. Dated 1656 with mid-C19 alterations. Coursed dressed and
squared stone; tiled roof; verge parapets; brick ridge and end stacks.
L-shaped plan. 2-storey, 4-window front, C20 casements with C19 painted
heads; entrance to right of centre and straight joint to right of door;
projecting blind wing to right-hand end with C17 front door in left-hand
return angle; heavy lintel inscribed: S

have labelled blind chamfered 1656
mullioned windows of 3 lights
to first floor left and 2 to ground floor right (formerly one of a pair -
the label of its partner remains, now over a door). The straight joint
dividing 2 parts bearing C17 details suggests early alterations; possibly
a 2-family dwelling.
