Two attached town houses, one of which was formerly the Inn.
C17, remodelled C18. Painted rubble walls; steep asbestos
slate roofs, half-hipped on the right; brick stack over cross
walls and on left. Single-depth plan. No.1 is 2 storeys over
basement; 2-window range. Late C19 four-pane horned sashes and
stuccoed doorway with eared head and C20 door on the right
plus 1-window range right-hand return into Broad Street. No.2
is 2 storeys; 1-window range with timber lintels over C20
windows and C20 door on the right. INTERIOR: when inspected
1980, remodelled C17 chamfered granite fireplaces were
revealed and there was some reused C17 moulded timber.
