Trafalgar House

Large town house. Early C19. Stucco on rubble with keyed
heads; steep hipped slate roof with modillion eaves cornice;
slatehanging to visible returns; brick stack on left, round
lead-roofed observatory behind. Deep plan including later rear
additions. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys; regular 4-window
range. Original or early C19 twelve-pane hornless sashes;
triangular pedimented doorway on left with moulded architrave
with guttae; panelled reveals; traceried overlight and 6-panel
door. INTERIOR: open-well open-string staircase with moulded
string and stick balusters; egg and dart cornice to entrance
hall, otherwise not inspected but likely to be of interest.
