Canal lock. 1780s with later repairs. English bond brick with coping of large
sandstone blocks. End wall to right has large quoins. Some parts of coping
replaced with concrete blocks. Single and double lock gates. The section of the
Coventry Canal from Atherstone to Fazely was completed by 1790. Included for
group value.
