GV II
House, part of a non-uniform row; two builds, early-mid C18 and
later C18. Coursed squared tooled sandstone. Roof, renewed in
French tiles, has stone copings, kneelers and stacks. Older left
section 2 storeys, 2 bays. Casements in wide chamfered surrounds,
lost mullions, below and Yorkshire sashes above in similar surrounds.
Enlarged fire window at first floor right. Right section 3 storeys,
1 wide bay, probably a rebuild of original downhouse with half
glazed 4-panel door at left in hearth-passage position. Windows
as in left part except for 6-pane sash on top floor. Each part has
coping, block kneelers and corniced chimney at left.
