Taylor Monument in Hunsdon Churchyard 6 metres SE of chancel

Monument. 1760. White limestone with grey stone top slab. A
rectangular tomb chest with heavily moulded base and top slab,
fluted and gadrooned recessed corners and raised and fielded
moulded panels on each side. Inscription on N face to ELLIOT
TAYLOR Esq ... 1760. A fine mid C18 monument still in the
baroque style, of special architectural interest. Part of a
group with the church.
