Farmhouse. 1752 on datestone; later alteration and extension. Chalk,
rendered and whitewashed; brick extension; tile roof; rendered brick stacks.
3-cell, direct-entry plan with opposed doors; outshut; rear service
extension added. 2-storey, 3-window front. Off-centre C20 boarded door
with overlight. Single 4-pane sash with stone sill to left of door, two to
right; three similar to first floor. Recessed square datestone in keyed
S W
architrave over door, inscribed A N N O. All openings have keyblocks.

Plinth and first floor bands. Coped gables and moulded kneelers to double
span roof. Right gable wall: firewindow. Rear: 1½ storeys with catslide
roof. End and right of centre stacks. North Yorkshire and Cleveland
