House, now pair of houses. Mid C18; raised and altered probably C19;
subdivided later. Cruck-frame cased in coursed rubble chalk, raised in
brick; brick gable wall and brick quoins to left; pantile roof; brick
stacks. Originally 3-cell, hearth-passage plan. 2-storey front. C20 door
in original opening to right of centre with C20 casement to right.
Later-inserted 6-panel door to left of centre, flanked by 2-light,
small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes. Blocked firewindow to left of
original door. Later inserted first floor windows are C20 sliding sash to
left, and casement to right. All ground floor openings have painted wedge
lintels. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. Left gable wall: two keyed
window openings with gauged brick arches. End and right of centre stacks.
