Former coach-house and stables, now toilets and storage. Dated 1862 but
probably early C19. Coursed sandy limestone, graduated stone slate roof.
Tall 2-storey central bay flanked by lower single bays with lofts. central
board double doors, dressed stone jambs and 4-centred arch with carefully
matched voussoirs and possibly rebuilt keystone with incised date. Small
circular pitching eye above flanked by slit vents. Pyramidal roof, stump
of ball finial. Left bay: 2 doors with plain jambs, a square window under
the eaves, the frame forming pigeon holes or ventilation to lower half and
2 panes above. Right bay: board door in plain surround to left, the frame
having sliding ventilators to the lower half and 8 panes above.
