House, now shops. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Stucco with Welsh
slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 first-floor windows. No.6 to left has late C19
shop front with recessed door to left and frieze held on carved console to
left. No 6A to right has 6-fielded-panel door with overlight in advanced
doorcase with panelled reveals and frieze above continuous from No 6,
supported by matching console to right and less elaborate one to left. 2
plate-glass sashes to right. First floor: plate-glass sashes beneath
channelled wedge lintels. Broad moulded timber cornice. Roof hipped to
left. Stacks rising through rear pitch of roof. Interior: closed-string
staircase with balusters boxed in and square section newels. One 3-panel
door to first floor. Dentilled cornice to landing. H-L hinges to some
doors. Frieze to main room has relief festoons and paterae and is late C18.
